An Introduction

I'm Dale Bass, an award-winning user interface design and usability professional with over 15 years of web/interaction design experience, and I provide UX/ID/IA consulting services through my corporation, UsableSite, Inc. My primary focus is assisting companies with the creation of highly usable web sites and applications, and have worked with major corporations including Wachovia Bank/Wells Fargo, Ally Financial, GMAC Dealer Financial Services, iLookBothWays.com and others. UX/ID

My passion is making sites easy for users to navigate and achieve their goals. Using techniques such as wireframing and rapid interactive prototyping, I can help teams work through potential user experience problems before entering the expensive programming phase of a given web or application project.

Information Architecture

The content of any site or application must be arranged in a logical order for users. I specialize in IA and content strategy, especially regarding the implementation of portals, microsites, blogs and online communities.

Usability Studies

Having organized, observed and/or conducted hundreds of usability studies (both lab-based and remote) over the past 10 years, I know there's no substitute for getting feedback from end users throughout the project lifecycle.
